HUMSS-A
Every Day with My Morrie
Ms. Priscilla M. Agaton
When
the concept of passion and love combine in literature, sometimes the immediate
reaction is one distance of the work. Love and passion are intimate and
difficult to render universally in the reality of the world., with the
ineffectiveness of words, social and cultural connection and the effectiveness
of other issues creating an external effect to the literary representation of
the love and passion phenomena. The representation of love often hides within
subtleness that shows social constructs or even perceived reality. In Ms.
Agaton’s article about “Tuesday’s with Morrie” a Mitch Albom phenomenal book,
she enlightens the readers with the true meaning of love, passion, commitment
and dedication not into an intimate love from the opposite gender but intro someone’s
important to life.
Love is intense, deep,
and long-lasting; people use this feeling to express genuine emotion. Love is
the passionate affection and desire felt by people. Love can be so powerful
that people cry, suffer pain, or even risk their lives to save it. True amour
springs from the very bottom of the heart and the spirit of the soul. Life
provides at least four areas for passionate being. The author (Ms. Agaton)
exactly pointing her love on her Morrie, she narrates the memoirs that she had
experienced with her Morrie when the times was in favor with them. She’s too
emotional and straightforward narrating all the details since then. All through
out the articles, the emotion flashes while reading it, I felt the sincerity of
the author while she’s telling the story of her own Morrie. In addition, she
relates her narration to Mitch Albom’s story about her Morrie. Ms. Agaton has
her own Morrie that exactly as compassionate and driven just like the Morrie of
Mitch Albom. Tt is indeed that love of the teacher is one of the greatest love
that a person can experience. The
author is explicitly implying to treasure our own teacher, they are our second
parents that has a mission to give us a successful future by sharing their
knowledge and encouraging us with their heart-warming words. Our teacher is our
inspiration, just like what the author stated, they taught us passion, patience
and the tenacity to withstand defeat and the determination to stand up.
The author never fails the reader to
experience cliff hanger that’s why she bombarded the article with so much
heart-warming information from the day of happiness with her Morrie until the
day where her body experienced oblivion. The article is so much attacking the
emotion of the people, not just only informing the importance of our teacher
but also inspiring us to the definition of passion and love they gave to us
until to their last breath. I like how the author made the article because she
is not just informing the readers about what she had read but also giving her
own experience and narrating a true-to-life story where she experience the same
thing on what she had read, the empirical details will brought the readers to
extend their gratitude to their own Morrie starting today. As a student that wants
to be an educator someday, I am moved by how the author write this article, if
her Morrie is the epitome of a teacher, the author is the epitome of
heart-warming words that tends to inspire the readers mostly like the students.
The author focuses the story defining her Morrie and how she affects her
cognitively and wholeheartedly. I want to quote Ms. Agaton. “I have finally
accepted that she has crossed over to another world”. From her narrative that
full of happy moments with her Morrie, she also tackled the oblivion she had
experience. The time of letting go and holding on is more far of a chance.
Emotions run through the whole article as she stated that. Too much emotions
flow on her narrative as she remembers the life with her Morrie. The abstract idea
of life cannot be explained by such ideas as being shown. The quandary of
defining death is not as abstract and elusive as that of life.
I am not lost following
the article because the author started it relating to the book of Albom which a
good idea is because the author relates it to that book and followed with
different empirical situations. Moreover, preceding to more depth of the story,
she then started narrating life with her Morrie when was still mentoring her
and inspiring her through her school life, but then again as time past by,
emotions attacked the readers by condemning them the passion of Morrie until
the last breath occur. This article does not anymore need to hide on the bush,
but it shot the bullet straightly as the readers will understand it tightly and
comprehensively. In general, like is an understatement word to show
gratefulness in this article, I love the article, I love the book, and I love
the way author wrote this masterpiece, this will be an eye-opener to some
people who does not see the real essence of the teacher that talking and
talking in front just to feed us information and encourage us about our future.
Sufferings and
inspirations go side by side for skillful but awful people. Blues in the music
of sorrow, expression of honest emotions and inner pain. The person who feels
this unexplainable emptiness needs to have the one chance to know the feeling
of empathy. Life goes, it does not stay nor still, but the simplest thing to do
with life is to enjoy it with the person that gave importance to you. Just like
what this article taught me, appreciate things now until it is reachable then
appreciate it more to the fullest even it needs to say goodbye but it ensemble
the memories of the past that can cherish what we have today, and we will use
in the future. Kudos!
